See, Think, Wonder

In the art work I see Australian land as it was before English settlement, and how the Aboriginal people had to hunt for there food and lived off the Australian land. I see that they are wearing a animal skinned dress. I also see there are some trees on the ground.

I think the Aboriginal men is about to kill the animal for food. I also think that that was a windy day by the trees in the picture. I think the animal might of ran away and the men did not catch it.

I wonder what kind of animal that is. I wonder if they god the animal, and I wonder how long it took to catch the animal, I wonder if the animal attacked back.

It’s Anthea and today I’m going to explain about my avatar.

I have quite curly dark brown hair and hazel eyes so I have reflected this in my avatar.  I have a yellow background because yellow is one of my favourite colours. There is also a little fringe in the front because 2 years ago my sister accidentally cut my hair and it’s taking quite a while to grow back.

This is the link I used to creat my Avatar –

Have a great day

My reading

Hi it’s Anthea and I’m so happy to start blogging again.

My favourite genre of reading is probably adventure. Because I always like a bit of adventure to make the storey more interesting. What is your favourite genre of reading?

An adventure book I have read is the the treehouse series, I recommend it because it is good for any age and although it might be long it does not have many words on a page, I also recommend it because it has lost of pictures in it.

Write now I have been reading a book called (How to bee) I didn’t really get into the book till half way. It about bees are extinct and these kids work on a farm to pollinate the flowers, at the farm there is a foreman, the main character peony and Aj, mango joy and Lilly who past away at the end. If you want more information I would definitely consider reading it

Judging information

Judging Information

This term it was judging information book week. This is where we judged six books. We judge the books by the visuals, information and layout. How the judging works is, you have a booklet with the books that we read, and it will have on visuals layout and information a score out of 10.  After we did that I added up the scores which will be out of 30, and that added up to 28/30 and that book was. Sorry Day by Coral Vass and Dub Lefflet That was my favourite.

What makes a good book is if the layout is clear the visuals need lots of pictures and the information is detailed. So that’s what we judged it by.

I liked sorry day because loved all of the realist drawn pictures. I also love books that are based on a real story. This book had really good detailed information. I thought that there could of been mor words on a page. 🦄

What book do you like better Sorry Day or Our Birds
